Details

This brushless small angle grinder requires no time changing brushes and offers a long motor life. Part of the PERFORM AND PROTECT line of products, this grinder is equipped with Kickback Brake which engages with maximum force to stop the wheel when a pinch, stall, or bind-up is detected. Power Loss Reset prevents accidental restarts following a power disruption when the tool is left in the on position.

Features:

  • Brushless motor requires no brush changes

  • Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder and shut the grinder off

  • Brake stops wheel in 2 seconds or less on average

  • Power Loss Reset prevents accidental restarts following a power disruption when the tool is left in the on position

  • Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20V; nominal voltage is 18V
